Prateek Shah

Prateek Shah serves as the Vice President of Sales for IDC, overseeing operations across the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and Central Asia since January 2011, with previous titles including Associate Vice President and Sales Director. Responsibilities include managing IDC's Research, Consulting/Advisory, and Go-to Market Services in the specified regions. Prior to IDC, Prateek worked at Mahindra Satyam as a Business Development Manager focused on the UAE market, and held a position at Morgan Stanley as a Senior Associate in the Business Intelligence Group. Initial experience was gained as a Software Engineer at Infosys, where Prateek was involved in reporting for a major banking and financial services client. Prateek holds an MBA in Marketing from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
