Christopher Chapa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software quality assurance and data governance within the educational sector. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Quality Assurance at IDEA Public Schools since August 2017, Christopher has evolved the organization's quality assurance frameworks and compliance initiatives, establishing a robust QA engineering team and driving automated auditing processes. Previous roles include Director of Quality Assurance and Software Development Quality Assurance Manager at IDEA Public Schools, where Christopher focused on operational scalability and data governance. Additionally, Christopher held leadership positions in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and gained engineering experience at Medtronic and Cornell University. Christopher holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
