Julio Garcia

Julio Garcia has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Executive Principal at IDEA Public Schools since June 2017, with prior roles including Interim Executive Principal, Assistant Principal, Principal in Residence, and Athletic Coordinator/Physical Education Teacher. Previously, Julio worked at Roma Independent School District from August 2013 to June 2017 as a Middle School History Teacher and Basketball Coach. Julio was also a 2013 Teach For America Corps Member in the Rio Grande Valley Region and worked as a Spanish Interpreter at Access 2 Interpreters from May 2012 to March 2013. Julio is pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of Cincinnati and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
