Dave McGregor

Dave McGregor is a seasoned AV/IT engineer with extensive experience in the marine and superyacht industries. Currently serving as the Contractor AV/IT Engineer Marine Division Lead Engineer at Ideaworks Ltd since September 2017, Dave coordinates a team of up to 15 individuals and acts as the central communication link between on-site engineers and the design team. Previous roles include Audio Visual Technician at Van Berge Henegouwen from July 2020 to January 2025, and Area Dedicated Installer for One Typoon Consortium, where Dave oversaw the installation of leading AV/IT equipment on a large superyacht. With a career that spans over two decades, including self-employment as a data/telecoms/AV engineer, Dave has developed a robust skill set in project management, network infrastructure, and audio-visual installations. Education includes a City and Guilds degree in Motor Vehicle repair and maintenance from West Kent College.
