Basil Badi

Director, Data Management at Ideal Health

Basil Badi has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 as an Intensive Care Unit Clinical Audit Data Manager at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, they implemented clinical effectiveness initiatives, managed data handling processes, and designed data analysis tools. Basil also led a group of medical consultants in patient data coding and utilized business analysis techniques to demonstrate the effectiveness of patient care.

In 2011, Basil joined Ideal Health and gained experience in various positions. Basil served as a Go-Live Support member and later as a Cerner Mellinium Specialist, where they provided support for the SurgiNET Theatre application. Basil cultivated relationships between clinical staff and implementation teams while championing the goals of the operational service improvement.

Basil's journey in Ideal Health continued, and they held roles such as IT Training/Engagement Lead, Performance Improvement Team Lead, and Manual Data Migration Project Manager. As a Project Manager, they were responsible for scoping and managing deliverables, designing infrastructure solutions, and promoting technical innovations.

In 2019, Basil took on the role of Business Change Manager, overseeing business change initiatives. Afterward, they became the Director of Data Management in 2022, where they managed the day-to-day operations of analysts, ensured data quality, and provided feedback to senior management.

In 2020, Basil briefly worked as a Project Manager at Ideal Middle East. Overall, Basil Badi has demonstrated expertise in data management, project management, and business change, with a focus on improving patient pathways and data quality.

Basil Badi pursued higher education at Brunel University London from 2006 to 2007. During this time, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree by specializing in "Modelling the diversity of Human Motion through 3D Motion Capture." Before that, from 2002 to 2005, Basili Badi completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science with Japanese at Queen Mary University of London.
