Timothy Tunnell

Timothy Tunnell has a strong background in electrical engineering and has worked for multiple reputable companies in the telecommunications industry. Timothy started their career in 1990 at Scientific Atlanta as a Senior Project Engineer and then moved on to ARRIS (formerly Antec) as a Staff Engineer from 1995 to 1997. Timothy joined Tellabs in 1997 and held various roles including Lead Engineer, Development Manager/Technical Design Lead, and Staff Engineer/Technical Design Lead. At Tellabs, they contributed to the design and development of routing platforms, line cards, switch cards, and backplanes for both existing and next-generation products. In 2013, they joined IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC as a Senior Electrical Engineer and later became the Lead Engineer.

Timothy Tunnell earned their BSEE degree in Communications and RF Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1990. Timothy then went on to complete their MSEE degree in Optics, RF Design, and Digital Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1994. In 2006, Tunnell obtained their MBA degree specializing in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
