Rodney Hsing

Rodney Hsing has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on sales and distribution. Rodney is currently serving as the VP of Distribution and Sales Operations at iDEAL Semiconductor Devices Inc, starting in July 2023.

Prior to their current role, Hsing worked at Qorvo, Inc. from 2015 to 2023. During this time, they held various positions, including Senior Sales Director of IDP Global Distribution & Major Defense Accounts and Director of IDP Global Distribution and Major Defense Accounts.

Before joining Qorvo, Inc., Hsing worked at TriQuint Semiconductor (now Qorvo, Inc.) from 2007 to 2014. Rodney served as the Director of Global Distribution and also as the Director of Network Global Accounts. In the latter role, they managed key accounts such as Ericsson, ALU, Cisco, Arris, Motorola Solutions, and NSN.

From 2006 to 2007, Hsing worked at Hittite Microwave as the Regional Sales Manager for America's East. In this role, they managed sales in the Eastern half of North America, selling products in both the military and commercial markets.

Earlier in their career, Hsing held the position of Managing Director and VP of Strategic Accounts at Sirenza Microdevices from 2000 to 2005. Rodney also worked as the North American Marketing Manager at Temic Semiconductors - Atmel from 1997 to 2000.

Hsing's career started at Penstock in 1994, where they served as a Supplier Business Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Andersen Laboratories, Inc. as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager from 1985 to 1988.

Rodney Hsing completed their high school education at Montgomery Blair High School from 1976 to 1979. Rodney then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Maryland from 1979 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Rodney has obtained a certification called "Getting More", although the details regarding the institution and the specific time of completion are unknown.
