Jordan Miller, PhD has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. From 2012-2017, they were a Doctoral Researcher, Instructor, and Researcher at The George Washington University. During this time, they explored the relationship between individual self-interest and the needs of a larger social group, and the extent to which this balance is facilitated by cognition, behavioral complexity and physiology. Jordan managed and collaborated with teams of Tanzanian researchers at a biological field station and laboratory, designed and directed research on the evolution of cooperation and altruism in a nonhuman primate, queried data from object-relational databases using SQL, and performed quantitative analyses in R and SPSS. In 2017, they joined Co-Capture as a Design & Research, where they conducted market and UX research to design a mobile application for a small startup, managed design, and implemented lean business principles to create a successful Android product. In 2018, they moved to Vacasa as an International Revenue Analyst. Finally, in 2019, they joined IdeaRoom as Vice President of Marketing and then Director of Marketing.

Jordan Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Duke University in 2012. Jordan then went on to The George Washington University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Paleobiology in 2015, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Paleobiology in 2017.
