VP, Partnerships at Ideas United

Michael Seminer is the VP of Partnerships at Ideas United. Michael has over 15 years of experience in marketing and event management.

Michael got their start in the industry with College Battle of the Bands, where they were the Director of Operations. Michael was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, developing, and managing marketing campaigns, original content programs, major events, and strategic partnerships with premier brands. Some of the brands they worked with include Sony PlayStation, Google, Apple, Adobe, Tribeca Film Festival, The Marketing Arm, LaCroix Sparkling Water, and others.

In 2006, Michael joined Ideas United as a Tour Manager. Michael helped develop the operations and logistics for Campus MovieFest, which grew from one event at Emory University into the world's largest student film festival with over 750,000 student filmmakers at 100+ campuses in the US, Mexico, UK, and beyond.

Michael's extensive experience and success in event management and marketing have made him a valuable asset to Ideas United. In their current role as VP of Partnerships, they are responsible for developing and managing relationships with Idea United's partners and clients.

Michael Seminer has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, an MSc in Media and Communications from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a degree in International Business from the University of Sydney.
