Maheen Shermohammed is a Senior Behavioral Designer at ideas42 since December 2022, previously serving as a Behavioral Scientist at Geisinger from 2019 to 2021, where contributions included the design and analysis of over 15 research projects focused on improving medical decision-making and health outcomes. Maheen integrated interdisciplinary principles, translating research findings into actionable insights for various teams and coordinating with partners to develop a machine learning algorithm that enhanced vaccination efforts. Prior to that, Maheen completed a PhD in Cognition, Brain & Behavior at Harvard University, where independent research explored emotional processing under stress and sleep deprivation. Earlier research experience includes roles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Duke University, focusing on experimental programming and MRI studies, with a foundational degree in Neuroscience from Duke University.
