Mike McIntyre

Mike McIntyre is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in public media. At ideastream since July 2010, Mike serves as the Executive Editor, overseeing the planning, creation, and supervision of news content across multiple platforms, including WCPN, WCLV, WVIZ-PBS, and ideastream.org. Additionally, Mike hosts "The Sound of Ideas," a daily public affairs call-in show on WCPN FM 90.3, Cleveland's NPR affiliate. Prior to ideastream, Mike worked at The Plain Dealer from June 1990 to July 2010 as a radio host and columnist, contributing to the "Tipoff" column. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University, attended from 1984 to 1987, and is a graduate of St. Edward High School, completing studies there from 1979 to 1983.
