Yvette Cook Darby

Yvette Cook Darby currently serves as the Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Ideastream Public Media since February 2023. Previously, Yvette held the position of Chief of Leadership Coaching at TLC Educators from January 2021 to March 2023 and Chief Operations Officer at The CAPP Institute from May 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included leading customer experience and transitioning to a virtual coach training model. As President & CEO of Usher's New Look from July 2014 to May 2018, Yvette directed programs aimed at empowering youth from underserved communities. Yvette's experience also includes serving as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at United Way of Greater Atlanta and VP of Strategy at Georgia Public Broadcasting, focusing on expanding brand presence and improving customer engagement. Early career roles included VP of Sales & Marketing at multiple television networks. Yvette holds both a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Affairs from the University of Denver.
