Helen Wattie

Helen Wattie has a strong background in sales, management, and business consulting. Helen is currently working as a Sales Director at Getmapping, where they focus on merging GIS technology with other emerging technologies. Prior to this, Helen founded iDefigo Group and served as the CEO and Sales Director, successfully expanding the company's footprint and establishing partnerships with major companies like Vodafone. Helen also worked as a Business Consultant at Business Budgies, where they resolved various strategic and tactical issues for different organizations. Earlier in their career, Helen created a consultancy practice at Comtech Ltd, introducing new revenue streams and overseeing business development.

Helen Wattie pursued their education in a variety of fields over the years. From 1995 to 1997, they attended Massey University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 1997, they furthered their education at a different university, earning a New Zealand Certificate in Business Studies with a specialization in Communications, which they completed in 1999. Moving on to a different academic path, Helen pursued a degree in Law with a focus on Intellectual Property through correspondence at the University from 2001 to 2008. Recently, in 2020 and 2021, they enrolled at Open College UK to pursue a Diploma of Education in Quantum Physics. Additionally, during the same period, they also obtained a Diploma in Quantum Physics from Open College.
