Gaurav Gupta

Gaurav Gupta has a diverse work experience in the field of sales and security solutions. Gaurav started their career in 2005 as a Technical Consultant at Daon, where they managed client relationships and implemented various biometric systems. Gaurav then took on roles as a Biometric Scientist and India Lead, where they provided expertise in biometric technologies, managed customer requirements, and developed market strategies. From 2013 to 2018, Gaurav worked at Unisys as the Director of Cyber and Physical Security Programs in the Asia Region, responsible for defining territory and executing sales goals. In 2018, they joined IDEMIA as the Senior Sales Director for South East Asia, where they led the sales team and developed the go-to-market strategy. Later, they became the Vice President of Sales for APAC and is currently the SVP & Global Head of Sales (excl. N. America), Travel and Transportation at IDEMIA. Prior to their professional career, Gaurav worked as a Research Assistant at West Virginia University and as a Research Associate at NBSP, focusing on biometric systems testing and evaluation.

Gaurav Gupta obtained their MS degree from West Virginia University from 2002-2004, with a focus on Biometrics, Pattern Recognition, Signal Processing, Stochastic Theory, and related subjects.
