Jim Kottas

Jim Kottas is a seasoned professional in the fields of information security and privacy, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Privacy Officer at IDEMIA since 2002. At IDEMIA, a company specializing in secure document production, enrollment services, and biometric solutions, Jim holds corporate-level responsibility for privacy and information security policies and practices. Prior to IDEMIA, Jim was the Director of R&D at eTrue from 2000 to 2001 and served as Chief Scientist at Miros from 1994 to 2000. Jim holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
