Ray Balks

Ray Balks is currently employed at Idemitsu Australia Pty Ltd. as the Group Manager of Stakeholder Relations. Prior to this role, Ray held positions such as General Manager of Operations and Manager of Mining - Open Cut at the same company. Before joining Idemitsu Australia Pty Ltd., Ray worked at Vale as the Open Cut Operations Manager and at Thiess as an SSE/Project Manager. Ray holds a Master's degree in Mining Geomechanics from the University of NSW and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from the University of Newcastle.
