Jesse Phillips

Jesse Phillips is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Development at Idemitsu Renewables since June 2021, where responsibilities include leading market and project development for utility-scale solar and storage systems in the PJM and MISO regions. Prior to this role, Phillips founded Parallel Universe VR, one of the first virtual reality experience centers in Los Angeles, and served as Senior Project Development Manager and Project Manager at Cypress Creek Renewables, managing the development of solar projects. Additional roles include Energy Engineer at RDK Engineers, Business and Engineering Consultant at Zephyr Energy Corporation, and Field Engineer at William A. Berry & Son, Inc. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Energy Systems and experience as a Gordon Engineering Leadership Fellow from Northeastern University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Vermont.
