Brandon Chesnutt

Brandon Chesnutt has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brandon began their career as an Operations Coordinator at AMC Theatres in 1999 and later transitioned to Cingular Wireless as a Salesperson in 2005. In 2010, they took on the role of Local Organizer and Global Facilitator at Startup Weekend, where they managed logistics, marketing, social media promotion, and fundraising for events in Detroit. In 2011, they became the Detroit Co-Founder of the Startup Foundation, a joint initiative by Startup Weekend and the Kauffman Foundation. In 2007, Brandon joined Identity, a PR and marketing agency, where they held multiple roles, including Social Media Director, Director of Digital and Development, Vice President of Digital Strategy & Development, and most recently, Partner.

Brandon Chesnutt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Oakland University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Brandon also obtained additional certifications including the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in December 2018, the HubSpot Sales Software certification from HubSpot in 2018. In 2017, they obtained the Top 5 Tips for Money-Saving AdWords certification from LinkedIn and the Inbound Certified certification from HubSpot Academy.
