Noel Pretorius is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in graphic design and art direction. Currently, Noel serves as a Senior Creative at Identity Works since April 2017 and has been an Art Director and type designer at NM type since November 2016, collaborating with María Ramos to launch the Kinetic typeface family, which received a Certificate of Typographic Excellence from the New York Type Directors Club. Noel's previous roles include Art Director & Graphic Designer at Brindfors MullenLowe from 2004 to 2016, where conceptual design solutions were generated for various projects, and Graphic Designer positions at Extreme Music, The Face, Disturbance Design, and The Hardy Boys, focusing on music branding, publishing layouts, identity, and packaging design. Noel holds aMaster’s Degree in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, completed in 2015.
