Thomas Shin

Thomas Shin is a Senior Systems Administrator at Identiv since February 2023, bringing extensive experience from Amazon, where roles included System Engineer from April 2014 to November 2022. At Amazon, Thomas supported AWS infrastructure and Linux engineering, successfully converting over 50% of Windows-based EC2 instances to Linux for Amazon Luna, and redesigned infrastructure permissions for over 1300 users. Additionally, Thomas was a Support Technician II managing Amazon Appstore's DeviceLab, handling extensive network setups and automated systems, and served as IT Systems Administrator at the International Myeloma Foundation, overseeing both local and remote VPN environments. Thomas holds a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Northridge.
