Hamid Arabzadeh is the Executive Chairman and Investor at IDENTOS. Hamid has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Hamid was the Chairman, President, and CEO of CoreOptics Inc., a global leading provider of 10/40/100Gbps Digital Signal Processors and optical subsystems for ultra high-speed networking applications in the telecommunications and information technology industries. CoreOptics was acquired by Cisco Systems in July 2010 in a $99M transaction.

Hamid also served as the VP and GM of Metro Optical Business at Nortel Networks from May 1995 to December 2002. In addition, they were a co-founder and board member at Impressed Interactive from June 2013 to August 2020. Hamid is also an angel investor at Purple Angel and the president of UNICAD Information Systems.

Hamid Arabzadeh has a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Hamid also has an M.B.A. in Strategic Management from McGill University.
