Hailey Brewer

Senior Director of Partnerships at IDEO.org

Hailey is a Senior Director of Partnerships for IDEO.org’s U.S.-based work. She cultivates collaborations with partners who are committed to redesigning systems to ensure that all young children and their families can thrive—especially those who are impacted by structural racism and discrimination today. As her daughter describes it, she ‘helps the helpers’.

As a seasoned design strategist, Hailey loves supporting teams to find deep and poetic alignment about what we’ll create together. In her prior role as co-lead for the public sector portfolio at IDEO, Hailey had the privilege of supporting the nascent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau enact its mission of leveling the playing field between consumers and financial service businesses through a suite of tools social workers can use with clients and the brand of the agency itself. She is passionate about leveraging design to work better together and has supported various government agencies to unlock deeper knowledge sharing and collaboration internally.

Hailey studied Latin American History at Tufts University and Universidad de Chile and has interned with community-based organizations in Chile and Nicaragua. She is a First Movers Fellow with the Aspen Institute Business and Society Program. She finds daily inspiration in her relationships with her partner, two young daughters, and the mountains of California.
