Joan Encarnacion

Joan Encarnacion is a seasoned Senior Communication Designer at IDEO.org, a position held since May 2018. Concurrently, Joan has served as Designer and Creative Director at La Galeria Magazine since August 2014. Joan's experience includes a notable fellowship at the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service as a 2020 Fellow, which involved a rigorous leadership program aimed at enhancing skills and building a cross-sector network. Additionally, Joan gained valuable experience as a Graphic Design Intern at Rolling Stone Magazine in early 2017. Educated at The City College of New York and The City University of New York, Joan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Design and Multimedia in 2016.
