Leah Kandel

Leah Kandel is an experienced design research operations professional currently serving as the Design Research Operations Director at IDEO since January 2020. Prior roles at IDEO included Senior Design Lead and Lead in Design Research Operations. Before joining IDEO, Leah was a Program Manager at California College of the Arts, where responsibilities included managing partnerships and designing a qualitative evaluation of student experiences. Previous experience also includes work as a Yoga Teacher at Karma Yoga Studios, Manager of Tours and Visitor Learning Programs at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and Education Assistant at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston. Leah holds an Executive Program degree in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania, a BFA and BS from Miami University, and has pursued summer courses in Art History and Film at The Ohio State University.
