Mark del Lima

Mark del Lima is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles, currently serving as Design Director at IDEO since March 2007, where responsibilities include shaping business strategy and fostering relationships in the Media & Technology domain. Previous positions at IDEO include Senior Design Lead, Design Lead, Principal Visual Interaction Designer, and Senior Visual Interaction Designer, focusing on applying the IDEO process to diverse design challenges across industries. As Co-Founder and President of Ersatz Film, LLC, Mark oversees the production of feature films and ethnographic storytelling, including the 2018 release, BITTER MELON. Mark also held a Design Lead position at IDEO.org, contributing to projects aimed at poverty alleviation and financial inclusion. Previous freelance roles include positions at Freestyle Interactive, Organic, Tractor, Agency.com, and Orange Design, with early career experiences as a QA Engineer at Apple Computer and Macromedia. Mark holds a BFA in Electronic Imaging and Photographic Imaging from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
