Matt Hovde

Matt Hovde is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in game design and artistic direction. As a Senior Game Design Lead at IDEO since April 2020, Matt contributes to innovative projects in the Play Lab. Concurrently, Matt has been with The Second City since June 2004, where roles have included Artistic Consultant, Director, and Artistic Director of the Training Center. Achievements include developing educational outreach partnerships, mentoring notable talent like Tim Robinson and Aidy Bryant, and receiving multiple Jeff Awards for directing. Matt co-founded the Bob Curry Professional Development Program, promoting diversity within the comedic arts, and holds a Bachelor's degree in TV/Film Production with a minor in Theater from Texas Christian University.
