Lauren Nicole Distler

Lauren Nicole Distler is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in exhibit development and fabrication. Currently serving as the Director of Fabrication at Ideum since January 2023, Lauren manages the fabrication studio, oversees production, and provides creative direction for exhibit elements. Previously, as a Producer in the same company, Lauren focused on developing exhibit fabrication opportunities and advising on design choices. Prior roles include Exhibit Developer at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum, where Lauren prototyped and maintained educational exhibits, and Assistant Project Engineer at New Mexico State Environment. Lauren holds dual master's degrees in Water Resources and Community and Regional Planning from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from James Madison University. Educational experiences include research positions funded by the National Science Foundation, showcasing a strong foundation in environmental engineering and community engagement.
