Alex Wearn

Alex Wearn is the co-founder/CEO of IDEX, a decentralized exchange. Alex has been with IDEX since January 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon from March 2017 to February 2018, where they focused on capacity planning for the Amazon Logistics operations team. Alex also has experience as an MBA & MS-DI at Kellogg School of Management from June 2014 to June 2016, and as a Worldwide Sales Insights MBA Intern at Adobe from June 2015 to September 2015. Before that, Alex worked at IBM DemandTec Solutions in various roles from September 2008 to May 2014, including Senior Product Manager/Managing Consultant, Product Manager/Managing Consultant, Senior Business Analyst, Lead Business Analyst, and Business Analyst. During their time at IBM DemandTec Solutions, they managed teams, oversaw software deployment, led integrations and deployments for CPG customers, collected customer feedback, and conducted training and troubleshooting.

Alex Wearn attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2014 to 2016. However, the information does not indicate if a degree or field of study was pursued during this time. Prior to this, from 2004 to 2008, Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Chemistry from Vanderbilt University.
