Vinney GUO

Vinney GUO has a strong background in technical marketing and engineering management. Vinney is currently working as the Director of Technical Marketing, APAC at IDEX Biometrics since September 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Engineering at IDEMIA from January 2015 to August 2019. Vinney also held the position of Director/Principal Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor, LSI business, where they set up their Beijing office and managed the R&D team from June 2012 to December 2014. Before that, they worked as the Senior Manager and Head of Customer Engineering, China at ST-Ericsson from February 2009 to May 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Customer Support Manager at ST-NXP Wireless from August 2008 to January 2009. Vinney started their career at NXP Semiconductors in 2004, where they held various roles including Technical Support Leader and Senior Modem SW Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Mobicom Corp as a Modem Protocol Stack SW Engineer. Overall, Vinney GUO has extensive experience in technical marketing, engineering management, and customer support roles in the semiconductor industry.

Vinney Guo completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University in the period of 1997 to 2001. Subsequently, Vinney went on to pursue a Master's degree in Automation/Control Engineering at Tsinghua University from 2001 to 2004.
