Benjamin Fremaux is currently the Chief Executive Officer at IDEX Groupe. Prior to this, they were a partner at Messier Maris & Associés from September 2014 to December 2019. Before that, they were the Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Directeur Général Délégué at Enrichment Technology from January 2013 to September 2014. Enrichment Technology is a joint venture between URENCO and AREVA. ETC delivers operating uranium enrichment plants. Its unique ultra gas centrifuge technology is used to enrich natural uranium for energy generation in nuclear power plants. Fremaux was also with AREVA from February 2011 to January 2013 as the Directeur de la stratégie et des fusions & acquisitions, Secrétaire du Directoire. AREVA supplies high added-value products and services to support the operation of the global nuclear fleet. The company is present throughout the entire nuclear cycle, from uranium mining to used fuel recycling, including nuclear reactor design and operating services. Prior to their work with AREVA, Fremaux was a Conseiller technique at the Ministère de l'Économie et des Finances, Cabinet de Christine Lagarde from June 2006 to February 2011.

Benjamin Fremaux attended the École Polytechnique before moving on to the Mines Paris.
