Ajay Sharma

Ajay Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Ajay is currently the Director of Manufacturing Operations at IDEX Corporation, a role they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at L3Harris Technologies as the Division Manager for Operations and NPI from November 2019 to August 2022, where they focused on resource planning, NPI acceleration, and overall operational excellence.

From December 2015 to April 2021, Ajay held the position of Director - Product Design and Development and Senior Manager - Product Design and Development at SVI Public Company Limited. In this role, they led engineering teams in providing design, development, and manufacturing services, managing the entire product lifecycle.

Before that, from December 2009 to November 2015, Ajay worked at Magnecomp Precision Technology PCL as the Senior Manager for Design and Development Engineering, where they led teams in delivering suspension design solutions for OEM product integration requirements worldwide.

Ajay also worked as a Senior Application Engineer at Nitto Denko Corporation from January 2009 to December 2009, where they analyzed application needs and communicated them to Asian manufacturing teams.

Prior to that, from August 2004 to January 2009, they were a Senior Process Integration Engineer at Seagate Technology, and from December 1997 to April 2004, they held the position of Senior Design and Process Development Engineer at Hutchinson Technology Inc. In these roles, Ajay contributed to process development, prototype delivery time reduction, and acted as an interface between US design teams and manufacturers in Asia.

Ajay Sharma obtained their BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997.
