Jesús Alvarado

Jesús Alvarado has extensive work experience in procurement and sourcing. Jesús started their career in 1998 as a Commodity Leader at GE Industrial Systems, where they were responsible for the Mexican chapter on the global strategy for cast iron components and assemblies. Jesús then worked at GE Appliances as a Global Purchasing Manager - Glass, where they successfully reduced costs and allocated new competitors in the global arena.

Alvarado subsequently served as a Purchasing Manager at Danfoss Compressors and as an Engineering Manager at AdobeAir. At Sauer Danfoss, they held the position of RPO Director, leading the Regional Procurement Office and developing the supplier base in Mexico for hydraulic products.

Their most recent role was with IDEX Corporation, where they served as the Managing Director/Country Sourcing Manager for Idex Mexico. Jesús was responsible for allocating and developing new suppliers in various areas, from castings to PCBA's, and oversaw contract negotiation and awarding.

Jesús Alvarado completed an Extra Curricular Diplomat in Global Purchasing from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1997. Prior to this, from 1980 to 1985, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
