Dan Janson

Mr. Janson has been Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Reference Laboratories, since November 2020, leading strategy and execution for the world’s largest global veterinary reference laboratory network. Since joining IDEXX in 2016, Mr. Janson has held a number of key leadership roles, including Vice President and General Manager, Global Reference Laboratories from February 2020 to November 2020; Vice President and General Manager, International Reference Laboratories and Global Lab Information Management Systems from March 2019 to February 2020; Vice President of Finance and Global Lab Information Management Systems from June 2018 to February 2019; and Senior Director of Finance from February 2016 to June 2018. Prior to joining IDEXX, he held several leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Fairchild Semiconductor International and National Semiconductor, most recently as Vice President of Finance for Fairchild for 15 years. Mr. Janson is also an electrical engineer who started his career at Fairchild as an Engineering and Production Manager after military service in the Air Force and as an Officer in the U.S. Navy. He trained in electrical engineering in the U.S. Air Force and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from Southern Illinois University as well as an M.B.A. from New Hampshire College.
