Michael Bailey

Michael Bailey currently serves as the President-Elect for the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) for the term 2024-2025. With extensive experience at IDEXX since April 2016, Michael Bailey has held the titles of Director and Associate Medical Director; Radiologist. Prior to that, Michael Bailey was the Assistant Medical Director at IDEXX Laboratories Limited from April 2016 to August 2022. Academic credentials include a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University, a DACVR from Michigan State University, and an AAAS Congressional Fellowship in Public Policy Analysis. An early education in agriculture was completed with a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University.
