Rachel Bowman has extensive experience in engineering, specifically in the field of cellular diagnostics research and development at IDEXX since April 2013. Current responsibilities include developing a Fecal project aimed at creating a consumable that minimizes user interaction with feces, exploring various float methods. Previously, Rachel contributed to process improvements for IDEXX reference labs, focusing on the Fecal Floatation test for identifying parasites in animals. Earlier in the career, Rachel completed an engineering internship at the University of Southern Maine, where the work involved plating a plastic part with copper sulfate. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern Maine, earned in 2013.
