Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in labor relations, compensation analysis, and legal expertise. Currently serving as HR Director for Global Commercial Sales at IDEXX since May 2019, Ryan has held various HR leadership roles within the company, including Associate Director HR for R&D and Sr. Human Resources Manager for R&D. Prior to IDEXX, Ryan was the Director of Labor Relations at the National Air Traffic Controllers Association from July 2015 to May 2019, and held the position of VP - Human Resources: Compensation Lead Analyst at Citi from January 2013 to June 2015. Ryan's career began as Associate General Counsel at the National Air Traffic Controllers Association from April 2005 to December 2012. Academically, Ryan holds a Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University of America and a BA in International Relations from The George Washington University.
