Stephanie Westcot

Stephanie Westcot, PhD, currently serves as an Intellectual Property Specialist at IDEXX, having previously held roles as a Patent Agent and Intellectual Property Technology Specialist at Pierce Atwood LLP. With a scientific writing background from Integrated DNA Technologies and freelance science writing, editing, and consulting, Stephanie specializes in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Genetics. Academic achievements include a PhD from the University of Minnesota, where research focused on skin development in zebrafish, and a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School. Additional experience includes internships in writing and marketing, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer at the Mayo Clinic.
