Zachary Helm

Zachary Helm is a seasoned data scientist and research professional with extensive experience in applied research and development, particularly within the water treatment and oceanography sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Data Scientist at IDEXX since August 2016, Zachary collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance innovative technologies for market application. Prior to IDEXX, Zachary held multiple roles at Oasys Water, including Program Manager for Applied Research and Development, directing teams in R&D and scaling manufacturing processes. Zachary's academic background includes a Master of Science in Oceanography from the University of Maine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Colby College, complemented by research experience in developing sensors and analytical methods for environmental applications.
