Gowtham R currently serves as Chief Manager at IDFC FIRST Bank since July 2019, where responsibilities include building a bank and previously leading analytics initiatives for the vehicle loans portfolio. Prior experience includes roles at IDFC FIRST Bank in retail analytics and strategy for consumer products, as well as a management trainee in the business intelligence unit. Gowtham also contributed to academic efforts at the Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering at IIT Bombay, assisting in research and organizing international conferences. Active involvement in student placements at IIT Bombay included positions as Head of the Sports Council and Institute Company Coordinator, fostering relationships with companies to support placements for over 1600 students. Gowtham holds a Master of Technology in Geoinformatics from IIT Bombay and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
