Hamza Zakraoui

Hamza Zakraoui serves as the Associate Director and Chief of Staff for West and North Africa at IDinsight since January 2022, leading strategic projects and business development across multiple countries while collaborating on regional strategy implementation. Additionally, Zakraoui is a Lecturer and Founder of the Evidence-Based in Development Policy and Design Master Program at Ecole Centrale Casablanca. Previous roles include serving as a Deputy Head at the French Treasury, where insights on pension reform, taxation, and social policies were provided to high-level officials, and as a representative to the Ageing Working Group for the European Commission. Academic contributions span various prestigious institutions, including Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, Sciences Po, and Université de Paris, across topics such as macroeconomics, international trade, and econometrics. Zakraoui holds multiple Master’s degrees in Analysis and Policy in Economics from ENS Paris-Saclay and Paris School of Economics, along with a Magistère in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
