Steven Walker

Steven Walker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program and project management across various sectors, including gender equality, education, and public policy. Currently serving as a Manager at IDinsight since November 2021, Steven previously held the position of Program Manager with LEAD at Krea University, where involvement included the IWWAGE initiative focused on gender equality research and policy. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Lead at the International Innovation Corps, where Steven contributed to the development of a gender equality index and a management information system for gender-focused interventions. Educated at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago with a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis, along with degrees from American University and Virginia Commonwealth University, Steven possesses a strong academic background supporting a commitment to social equity and education.
