Jean Plamondon

Jean Plamondon is Partner, member of the Investment Committee and specialized in direct co-investment activities. It also conducts investments in primary funds and trades in the secondary market. He sits on the advisory committees of several European private equity funds.

Before joining Idinvest Partners in 2006, Jean was Associate Director at Parquest, a player positioned in the LBO of mid-sized companies, since 2002. He was previously VP Investments LBO at Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec in Paris. In 1991, he participated at HSBC / Montagu in the raising and investment of a small capitalization transfer fund invested in France. Jean started his career in Private Equity in 1985 at Citicorp Venture Capital France. He was previously a project engineer at CGI, an IT services company since acquired by IBM.

Jean is an electronics engineer who graduated from McGill University and holds an MBA from McGill (in partnership with the MBA from HEC in Paris).
