Jian-Ming Tang has extensive experience in both academia and industry, currently serving as a DevOps Manager at iDirect Government since December 2014, with prior roles as a Senior Test Engineer and Hardware Test Engineer, focusing on automated testing and continuous integration for satellite communication systems. Jian-Ming held the position of Affiliated Professor at the University of New Hampshire from August 2007 to April 2016, where research included developing numerical methods for low-energy electron diffraction and studying layered materials. Prior to that, Jian-Ming was an Assistant Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Iowa, contributing to the development of C++ software packages for studying electronic structures in semiconductors and coherence in superconductors. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Washington and a BS in Physics from National Taiwan University.
