Koen Willems possesses extensive experience in the satellite communications and technology sectors, currently serving as VP of EU Programs and Government Relations at ST Engineering iDirect since July 2008. Prior roles include leadership positions such as Head of International Government Cunning Plans & Market Development and Market Director for Government, Humanitarian & Defense Satcom at Newtec. Additional experience includes product management roles at TOSHIBA TEC EUROPE and marketing and sales positions at SecuTeam and The Reference, complemented by project management roles at Lernout & Hauspie. Koen Willems holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management from VLEKHO Business School Brussels and a Master’s Degree in Swedish, English, Economics, Psychology, and Marketing from Ghent University.
