Mezbah Uddin Ahmed is a seasoned professional in Islamic finance with extensive experience in multiple roles. Currently serving as a Member on several technical committees at Bangladesh Bank and on the Shariah Supervisory Committee for various financial institutions, Mezbah plays a critical role in the development of Sukuk and governance standards. Active involvement with organizations such as the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions and the International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance highlights a commitment to education and regulatory compliance within the sector. Additionally, Mezbah has contributed as a trainer and speaker on subjects including financial reporting, audit, and risk management, equipped with a Master of Science in Islamic Banking and Finance from International Islamic University Malaysia and a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
