Syed Javed Noor

Syed Javed Noor has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Syed started their career in 2001 as a Relationship Manager for Corporate Finance and Merchant Banking at IDLC Finance Limited. Syed then moved to Standard Chartered Bank in 2004 as a Relationship Manager for Local Corporate clients. In 2005, they returned to IDLC Finance Limited as the Head of Retail Sales.

In 2006, Syed joined HSBC and held various positions including Relationship Manager, Division Head for Commercial Banking and Manager in Chittagong, Head of Payments and Cash Management, and ultimately as Country Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance until 2016.

Following this, they rejoined IDLC Finance Limited as General Manager from 2016 to 2021 and later as Deputy Managing Director from 2021 onwards.

Simultaneously, they also served as a Board Observer for Chaldal, a leading online grocery platform, from 2019 and Truck Lagbe, a truck rental service, from 2021. In 2020, Syed became a Partner at IDLC VC Fund I.

Syed Javed Noor holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Dhaka. Additionally, they have a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the same university.
