Marlene Romany MS, PMP, CSM

Marlene Romany has over 20 years of experience in various project management roles. Marlene is currently working as a Project Delivery Lead at IDMWORKS since November 2018. Prior to that, Marlene worked at Air Products from January 2014 to November 2018, where they served as a Senior Project Manager and was responsible for managing strategic Information Security projects. Marlene'skey accomplishments at Air Products include outlining and documenting business cases, managing vendor engagements, collaborating with project teams, and providing status updates to the Project Board.

Before joining Air Products, Marlene worked as an Application Manager at Andesa Services, Inc. from April 2009 to November 2011. In this role, they initiated and implemented process improvements to enhance the software development process and managed a team of 19 developers.

From January 2007 to April 2009, Marlene worked as a Senior Project Manager at Bisys Retirement Services. Marlene also gained experience as an IT Project Manager at ALM Media Inc from January 2006 to December 2006.

Marlene began their career at Zurich North America, where they worked as an IT Project Manager from October 1998 to September 2004. Marlene also held consultant project manager roles at TIAA-CREF from April 2005 to December 2005 and Computer Sciences Corporation from 2004 to March 2005.

Throughout their career, Marlene has demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills, successfully delivering projects and driving process improvements.

Marlene Romany has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Project Management which they obtained from Boston University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Baruch College from 1996 to 2000, earning a degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) with a focus on Small Business Administration. Marlene also holds additional certifications, including CRISC from ISACA, and they are a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. Marlene has also completed training courses in IdentityNow Introduction and Introduction to Identity Security with SailPoint, offered by SailPoint.
