Ammar al Ojaili

Ammar Al Ojaili serves as the VP of Innovation at OQ, where Ammar leads the SablaX innovation initiative to introduce new ideas within the company. Additionally, Ammar contributes to IDO Investments as an Investment Committee Member, focusing on investment decisions. As a former Member of the Board of Directors for the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority from December 2019 to November 2023, Ammar provided oversight and guidance. Previous roles include Associate Director at Takatuf Oman, where Ammar managed strategic planning for an elite leadership development program, and similar responsibilities at Oman Oil Company. Ammar's academic career includes positions as Dean and Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at Salalah College of Technology and Head of Department at HCT, with a foundational role as a Lecturer at the Higher College of Technology. Ammar holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, an MSc in Management and Implementation of Development Projects from The University of Manchester, and a BSc in Construction Engineering from Iowa State University.
