Roo Currier

Roo Currier is an experienced professional in the music distribution industry, currently serving as General Manager (UK) at IDOL, Independent Distribution On Line since April 2017. This role involves overseeing business development, label management, and the UK retail marketing team, collaborating with prestigious labels such as Soundway and Erased Tapes. Prior to this position, Roo served as Label Manager at Kartel Music Group, managing relationships with various labels, and held the role of International Distribution & Marketing Manager at Tru Thoughts, where responsibilities included the oversight of distribution both in the UK and globally. Roo’s experience also encompasses ownership of Infinite Records and a position as Vinyl Product Manager at Resident Records. Roo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Media & Cultural Studies from Buckinghamshire New University.
