Brinda Paul

Brinda P. has a wealth of experience in the legal and compliance fields. Starting in 2008, they worked as a freelance Legal Trainer. In 2012, they took on the role of Head of Legal at 3DCH Media, where they negotiated, drafted and reviewed contracts, NDAs, copyright clearances, Error and Omission insurance and general contractual rights management. Brinda also led the federal and state funding grants applications for documentary productions. In 2017, Brinda was an Executive Producer at Cryptopia: Bitcoin, Blockchain & the Future of the Internet. In 2019, they joined BANXA as the Director of Compliance, providing executive level leadership and proposing and developing approaches and solutions to help the business mitigate risks and compliantly launch new products and services. Brinda also led the European license and registration applications and created the requirements for reporting metrics and dashboards. Additionally, Brinda was Head of Compliance at BANXA, developing, implementing and maintaining the company's compliance framework and risk program.

Brinda P. has completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law from the University of London. Additionally, in November 2021, they obtained a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS.
